Places to eat on the intracoastal waterway

Are there places to dock the boat and eat along the intracoastal waterway?

Specifically, we will likely put in down around the bridge at Captain Poo%26#39;s and head north to see friends up at Sunset Harbor (Bolivia) in NC.

Another day we may head south...any places there to pull over and eat.

If there are restuarants then I won%26#39;t have to pack lunches!!!!!

Places to eat on the intracoastal waterway

Hello...There is restaurant called Docksiders at Barefoot Landing in NMB, where you can dock your boat and eat.

If you head South, Boondocks is a neat little restaurant located beside Waccha Wache Marina in Murrells Inlet. The food is decent, and they%26#39;ve got a great outdoor deck overlooking the Waccamaw River/ICW. I think they shut down for the winter and I%26#39;m not sure if they have reopened yet so you might want to give them a buzz before heading down. 651-4420.

If you want to run a little further, there are several restaurants along the RiverWalk in Georgetown Harbor. There%26#39;s a day-visitor dock and some of the restaurants have outdoor decks. River Room and Goat Island Grille are two good choices.

What%26#39;s your budget? Lot%26#39;s of restaurants at Barefoot Landing.

One of our all time favorites is Greg Norman%26#39;s Grill.

You can even eat outside under the twinkling lights with the intracoastal waterway as your backdrop. Can be pricey but always great. Newspaper often has a buy one get one deal.

I believe you said you were heading North. Snooky%26#39;s at Cricket Cove in Little River, or Crab Catchers in Little River, you can tie up to a ladder. Those are like 10 mins from Poo%26#39;s. You won%26#39;t find another restaurant on the Waterway until Ocean Isle. You can pull into the harbor at Calabash off the waterway. Ocean Isle has couple places you can eat, but the canal you pull into is incredibly narrow and shallow.

More options to investigate:

Docksiders: at Barefoot Resort is Docksiders Grille, overlooking the Marina and Intracoastal Waterway. Indoor/outdoor seating, sometimes live music.

Filets: At the Little River Swingbridge on Seacoast Hwy/9. Indoor/outdoor seating, nice restaurant with tiki bar, live music

Dynamites at Dock Holidays: In North Myrtle Beach, almost to Cherry Grove. Great place to hear music, located on the Intracoastal Waterway. Its a restaurant and bar with large outdoor stage, it does have a cover over the top to protect from the sun.

Dynamites has been gone over a year, then it was Pete%26#39;s Landing, it is now closed and nothing is there as we speak, also Marina Raw Bar closed at Dock Holliday Marina. This person if you note is putting in at Poo%26#39;s, heading NORTH, Poo%26#39;s is at Filets Harborgate, and much futher north then Barefoot.

If you note the original message....

%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; Another day we may head south...any places there to pull over and eat.

I clean up my notes on the other places.

Second vote for Boondocks...if you come south.

Thanks for the suggestions! Can%26#39;t wait for Easter!
