Any advice as to where to stay June 20-27, that has activities mostly for the 20-25 year-olds (Mom %26amp; Dad will just chill out). Would like a place that has a washer/dryer, restaurant(s), maybe evening entertainment. I know I%26#39;m asking alot, but hoped a Myrtle Beach regular could lend some advice. Don%26#39;t want to go north. Would like to stay close to town so the kids can walk around. Thanks to all!!

For the most part you will be driving to wherever you need to go outside of what%26#39;s at the hotel.
That being said, there are a number of hotels that meet your requirements:
-Breakers Resort www.breakers.com
-Coral Beach Resort www.myrtlebeach-resorts.com
-Sea Crest Resort www.seacrestresort.com
-Caribbean Resort www.caribbeanresort.com
-Long Bay Resort www.longbayresort.com
-Island Vista Resort www.islandvistaresort.com
-Anderson Ocean Club Resort www.andersonoceanclub.com
Some of these places will have a lot of kids and some have some entertainment at the hotel and others there are places right next door or at least walking distance.

Check out Sandy Beach or Oceans One. Both fairly new and close to Family Kingdom.
I 2nd the vote for either Sandy Beach or Oceans One. Be sure you book the Palmetto building if you select the Sandy Beach. There%26#39;s a nice little oceanfront bar next to Sandy Beach with live music called McAdoo%26#39;s. The 2nd Ave Pier is 1 block north if you want to fish, eat or just take a walk on the pier. They have fireworks 1 night a week (Thursday?) and the view from either property is great. It%26#39;s right at 1 mile to walk from the Sandy Beach to the old Pavilion area. Otherwise driving will be necessary.
The Breakers will have alot of what you want and is right in the mix of everything. Walking distance to just abut everything and a short drive to Broadway (just a couple mins). That%26#39;s where we are going this year. Coral Beach was another choice of ours ultimately it came down to which was more updated and closet to the action for the kids. The Breakers won out.
Does anyone have an opinion on the Compass Cove, Bayview Resort or the Myrtle Beach resort? It looks like the Bayview does not have an ';outdoor'; pool. I%26#39;m not having much luck with breakers, or sandy beach as far as trying to stay within a budget. I appreciate all of you that have helped so far!!
Myrtle beach resort is a gamble, all of their rooms are privately owned so you do not know what you get. i also heard some of the oceanfront rooms are small. Are you looking for a 2 bedroom?
I looked at Bayview but got scared off by no outdoor pool.
Do you check the rates at Caribbean resort or Holiday sands on the south beach? I thought they had good rates.
So your kids are 20-25?
After some checking, I see that the Bayview has no outdoor pool. Thanks for confirming that. Kinda strange. I will have my 2 sons ages, 20 %26amp; 24, with us along with their friends, ages 23 %26amp; 20. I%26#39;ll check the Caribbean. Thanks for the advice!
