Is the weather at the end of May generally nice enough for laying out on the beach and swimming?

Beach will be great. Ocean still pretty cool at end of May, water temp close to 70. Too cold for me to swim, most indoor pools will be good.

I have laid out many times in may, it just gets a little cool at night.

We were there end of may/first week in June a few years back and it down right HOT during the day, you might want to bring a light jacket or hoodie once the sun goes down.

We were there last year at the end of May and first of June. It was nice, very warm for laying by the pool and we swam in the ocean. We are from Mississippi so we are use to very hot weather. We wore shorts even at night, and did not get cool at all. We%26#39;re going again this year, May 28 - June 6. It seems less crowded during this time. I think some schools do not get out until the first week in June, we visited relatives in NC after our trip last year and their kids were just finishing school.

I%26#39;m used to cold weather and cold lakes so from what I%26#39;m reading, we%26#39;ll be just fine. Thanks for the input!
