I am considering a week in MB with husband and kids 13 and 16. we like the pool and the beach. I am looking for a resonably priced effic. close to attractions. I have looked at the SeaCrest and the Sandcastle...I am in need of recommendations.

wont you feel cramped in an effic? I would atleat go for a 1br with a pullout and a murphy bed.

What dates are you considering?

Some other places you might want to look at are Dunes Village Resort, Anderson Ocean Club, Roxanne Towers, The Carribean Resort, Long Bay, Ocean Reef and Beach Colony. They all seem to be pretty popular on this Forum.

You can get a 2BR condo for nearly the same price.

nana is right, i just checked some prices and you can get a 2br for around the same price.

Skip the Sandcastle!.

Rates that time of year should be pretty good...you should be able to afford a larger..2 bedroom condo in a nicer resort/hotel. Look at something with the address of 5300 North Ocean Blvd..and up towards

76th Ave. Thats the best area.

We are going in April as well and found a good deal at Sandy Beach. I love that area - not everyone does - but it is close to things for teens to do. Go look under their specials and they have great deals on 2 bed condo. From what I have read Plametto building is the newer building and nicer accomodations. This will be our first stay there. It looks like they have heated outdoor pool, indoor pool and lazy river and hot tubs. We went to MB in the fall and walked there and looked at it and Oceans One and both looked great from the outside!
