Have been to Myrtle many many times basically every year. Usually stay at the Caribbean or the Breakers. Was wondering about the Coral Beach. How is it is it nice is it out dated???? Will teens and pre teens enjoy it. Only have a couple of days to decide so any help would be appreciated.
Coral Beach Resort
I have stayed there over ten times and we love it. Our room has always been spotless along with the rest or the resort. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The teen and pre teens should like the arcade and bowling alley area. That is why we always stayed here is for the amenities to keep the kids occupied. I think you will enjoy it.
Coral Beach Resort
I%26#39;ve never stayed there, but it seems nice enough. The only thing I don%26#39;t like is the indoor pool/spa areas seem kinda ';chopped up'; into separate smaller rooms...we prefer a more open area where it%26#39;s all in one large room. Very nice grounds though, I just can%26#39;t comment on the rooms.
IMO, Coral Beach looks a little dated to me. The reviews are not bad though. DId you not like the Caribbean or the Breakers? They seem like better choices.
OH yes we love both but with the prices was just considering saving some money. In the neighborhood of $400- $700 can make a big differnce
So are you saying Coral beach is 400-700 cheaper? Wow, i need to check their rates? When are you going? We are going June 5-12.
wish we were going that week it%26#39;s a couple hundred cheaper. We are going the following week the 14th -21st. Rates go up this week anyway. I%26#39;m not happy about having to go in June anyway I%26#39;ve had terrible luck with rain in the past in June lol I%26#39;m a July kinda person lol.
Anyway the Caribbean is $1473 for a suite, The Breakers for what we want start at $1547 and goes to $1748. You can get the same OF suite at the Coral Beach for $1125.
We didn%26#39;t really want to stay as far down as the Caribbean this time because the kids are older and want to go walking and hanging out and all that so the breakers is 1st choice but for the money if Coral Beach isn%26#39;t tooooo old or run down or outdated then it might be a choice.
Our second trip to MB last year we had to stay at Captains Qtrs and would NEVER go back. It was just way to outdated run down just yuck. Thanks goodness most of that trip was not pleasure but on the softball fields lol
Anyway that%26#39;s my ????
p.s on the Coral Beach web site the OF Suite somes up as like $941 or $971 before taxes
PrivateI,
I read you paid $200 more so which room and resort did you go for? Just wondering?
We ended up going with The Breakers our suite is in the Palms building. It%26#39;s suppose to of just reopened last week after a renovation. So we%26#39;ll see. We went with this mainly for the kids. That was the 1st choice and because of where it is for walking. Hoping it will be a good choice. lol
I was looking at Breakers and Caribbean also. We are leaning toward Caribbean. Mostly because Caribbean looks so nice on line. We have stayed at Long Bay,and Sea Crest. We like Long Bay but wanted to try something new as we have stayed at LB the last few times.
