College spring break advice!

I am going to Myrtle Beach in March for college spring break with a few friends. We want to get a room that is on the beach and is in walking distance to bars and clubs. We are all 21 years old. Can anyone tell me where college spring breakers usually stay and what the nightlife is like? I have never been to MB so any advice at all would be very helpful. Thanks!

Most of the bars, clubs, nightlife are not walking distance to the beach so plan to take cabs if you do want to stay on the ocean. Myrtle Beach is very spread out and not suitable for walking unless all you want to do is eat and lay on the beach

You do realize that it will likely be way too cool to lay out on the beach in March, right? The water will be too cold to swim in as well, unless you are sadistic or bring a wetsuit.

If you want beach weather, you should set your sights further down South, like Florida. I went to Key West for Spring break when I was in college and had a blast. Also consider the ';usual'; hotspots, like Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Daytona, etc.
