Bike Week question

Hello! We are planning a family trip to Myrtle Beach and we just found out it will be the same week as Bike Week.

Should we be concerned about anything? Any tips or advice? Are we making a mistake or is it no big deal? Safe?

I am in my mid twenties travelling with my parents and 4 teenagers.

Thanks so much for any help.

Bike Week question

What dates are you considering.? I just read that the Harley week may move to North Carolina.

Bike Week question

Hello, May 14th-24th.

I have been down during bike week and I do not feel it is a big deal. They do not frequent the beach and congregate mainly at specific biker sites.Just dont get caught leaving on the day most bikers leave or traffic could be a problem.

Ask if your hotel allows motorcycles as some ban them all year long.

Kingston Plantation does not allow motorcycles past the entry gate. There is plenty to do at Kingston and you won%26#39;t have to worry about bike week.

Check out VRBO.com and you may find something that interests you.

There are lots of pools throughout the plantation and there are all types of units. Villas, townhouses, and condos.

Tanger outlets are less than a mile down the road. Wal-Mart is across from Tanger. Lots of food choices nearby.

Hello, we are already booked at the Compass Cove Beach Resort.

Thanks for all the info though! :)

Compass Cove will be in the ';cruising'; area and will most likely be one way traffic in front of where you stay. If like past years, if you have young children, you might keep a close watch over them to prevent them seeing things you would just as soon they not witness.ie thong bathing suits on the bike passengers although they are supposed to be illegal.

nana, I got a kick out of your post. Thanks for the laugh!

4 teens, nanajane....if they%26#39;re males, 24 hour security won%26#39;t keep them from looking....;-)
