Dixie Stampede

Is the Dixie Stampede worth its admission of over $50 for adults? We are considering going. For 3 adults and one child it will be over $200. I just want to know if its worth it. If we dont go there, we might try the Hard Rock Park if it reopens.

Dixie Stampede

No, I don%26#39;t think so. I wouldn%26#39;t go again if the tickets were free. It%26#39;s just a horse show with some singing for the most part. Definitely not worth $200. I would recommend the Carolina Opry, that%26#39;s usually a good show if you haven%26#39;t seen it... especially the Good Vibrations Show. (At least myself and the wife like it).

Dixie Stampede

I guess it is based on personal opinion. If its something you have never done before. Yes, it is worth it. It is not always $50. You can normally catch some specials. I have been several times. My families favorite show is th Christmas Show. Love it.

Went once- wouldn%26#39;t go again. Like the Medieval Times show and food better. Stampede food was mediocre at best and they had the worst sweet tea I%26#39;ve had anywhere- they should be ashamed to serve something like that in the south. The Stampede show was just too flowery for us. Medieval Times is exciting. It%26#39;s all a matter of what you like though.

We prefered Dixie Stampede over Medevil Times. If you aint never been to either one then I reccomend that you go to atleast one of the two.

We thought the Dixie Stampede was great. We have been to Branson, Pigeon Forge, and Orlando%26#39;s. I am thinking of going to Myrtle Beach%26#39;s show just to say we%26#39;ve been to them all. It is entertaining for all ages. We have had 3 generations in our group go. Fun atmosphere, and good fun food. Preshows are good too.

Now, I think Medival Times show is sort of lame, so everyone has different opinions.

Everyone will have an opinion on how you should spend your vacation dollars! Our family has always had a great time at the Dixie Stampede. We%26#39;ve been countless times and no one has ever left wishing they hadn%26#39;t gone. Is it gourmet food? Of course not! Is it a Broadway show? Nope! But it is a great evening of entertainment if you are looking to be entertained.

If your budget allows you to attend this show and you go wanting to have fun, you will.

For those who have been to the Dixie Stampede, what is Preferred seating??

If I remember correctly, they seat you.

I agree with most of the others, I found it to be overpriced, and did not care for the food.

The last time I went was with school when I was about 12 or 13. I only enjoyed it since I was with a bunch of friends. I thought it was boring and not for my age group at the time. I think if you enjoy horse shows you will enjoy it. My brother, Grandmother, and aunt went this past December. My aunt and grandmother had a great time; they really enjoyed it. My brother (29) was texting me the whole time about how boring it was. The only part he enjoyed was when they were chasing a pig or something. I think it is just a personal preference of how you want to spend your money. In my opinion, you could probably get more time out of going to Hard Rock Park. You may be able to spend several hours there and it might be more worth it to you. I agree that Medieval Times is better, but I would not pay to see it again. I don%26#39;t know how old your child is but I think Medieval Times is better suited for children. It has more of a fun atmosphere.

We have decided to skip Dixie Stampede this time and go to the Medieval Times show. We are also going to try the Hard Rock Park.
