We will be spending Tuesday in Myrtle Beach before our flight leaves at 9:30 pm...how should we soend it? Looks like weather will not be good for the beach!!!
A day in Myrtle Beach
I would do the Ripleys Aquarium and then shop and eat at Broadway at the Beach.
A day in Myrtle Beach
How many in your group and what is the age range?
It%26#39;s terrible here today!
But by Tuesday the sun will return even if the temps are still low!
Only myself and husband..(age..early 50%26#39;s)We are driving up from Hilton Head...looking for something fun!!!
If it were me (hubby and me are 50/51).
We%26#39;d leave early from Hilton Head. About a 4 hour drive to our first suggested stop
Brookgreen Gardens
1931 Brookgreen Drive, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576
www.brookgreen.org
Largest outdoor sculpture park in the world! In Murrells Inlet. Put on some layers and go for a walk there-it%26#39;s truly lovely!
Lunch at Market Commons or Marriott Grand Dunes
Market Commons
www.marketcommonb.com
Exceptional shopping, dining or just browsing in a beautifully-designed village setting. Hand made candy shop, Barnes and Nobles PF Chang’s, Tommy Bahama’s Restaurant, Roy and Sid’s American Restaurant, and many more!
Marriott Grand Dunes
8400 Costa Verde Drive
Myrtle Beach
Marriott has a really lovely restaurant with a great menu.
Then we%26#39;d stroll around Broadway at the Beach
Broadway at the Beach
www.broadwayatthebeach.com
Beautiful boardwalked shopping and dining area.
Time for a cocktail!
Stop at City Bar for a romantic drink. Great martini%26#39;s. Wonderful bartenders! Truly beautiful inside. One of the best of the Divine Dining Group restaurants. Great dinner menu as well but I%26#39;d just go for drinks and then off to Ciao (below) for dinner. Their Mozzarella Caprese is top notch, as is everything else on their menu.
http://www.citybarrestaurant.com/
Last stop - Ciao for a romantic and delicious Italian dinner. The service and menu are terrific!
5223 North Kings Highway
843-449-5700
If you%26#39;re out of Ciao by 8 you%26#39;ll have plenty of time to return to the airport-less than a 20 minute ride. (Ciao also serves lunch)
That%26#39;s what we%26#39;d do!
Hope you have a great time!
I would go to Broadway at the Beach too, there is so much to see and do there and the time will pass quickly. There are lots of great restaurants for lunch/dinner or go have a margarita at margaritavile. The aquarium is there too and lots of fine shopping. It%26#39;s not to far from the beach at least you could drive over and just put your feet in the sand.
A great way to end your trip would be dinner and a show at Medieval Times (and it%26#39;s all in doors!)-and it%26#39;s just a dash away from the airport.
Hope this helps!
Two 50 year olds may find Medieval Times boring.Visit Broadway At The Beach and Barefoot Landing. If you enjoy wine do the wine tasting at Barefoot Winery.Dragons Lair is a good miniture golf at B.A.T.B.
Have lunch at MargaritaVille,House Of Blues or Hamburger Joes accross from Barefoot.
If you like shellfish do the buffet at Original Benjamins or Captain Georges(crab legs and clams) for dinner.Buffets not for you ,do Chestnut Hill,Landrys or Carolina Roadhouse(great baked potato soup).
If your there at breakfast do Sea Captains House.
