Renting Baby Equipment and Bikes

We are coming to Kiawah for our first visit in April. We will be staying at a home that is linked to the Island Resort with my family and 19 month old son.

I am wondering if anyone has recommendations or reviews of Baby Equipment Rental companies in the area? “Island Babies” was mentioned to me however I have found no information about them on the internet. Has anyone rented equipment from them?

As well because we are staying at a resort run home should we be renting bikes through the resort or are there other companies that are better?

Since you are renting a home managed by the Kiawah Island Golf Resort, you will receive discounts on bike rentals from the Resort. It%26#39;s one of the ';amenities';.

Otherwise, we like ';Island Bike and Surf';, whom we have used for years. We have rented bikes and purchased bikes from IBandS.

Either way, be sure to reserve your bikes in advance so they will be waiting for you when you arrive.

Since you are renting a resort-managed home, inquire about baby equipment from the Kiawah Island Golf Resort. They should be able to supply a crib, and possibly other sorts of baby equipment. Since Kiawah is popular family destination, this issue comes up all the time.

Even if you rented directly from the owner rather than going through the resort, you will have access to all of the services and amenities of the resort. Phone the resort at 843.768.2121.

NB: If you received the official confirmation email directly from the resort, it will have a reservation number that you can use to reference your reservation. If you rented from an owner who keeps the resort confirmation in his own name until you check in, you will need to get that number from the owner.
