Where are the cool places to go and where are some cheap places to go?

Depends a lot on where you are staying and whether you plan to drive to bars or have a DD. It%26#39;s really spread out so I%26#39;ll make some random suggestions....

The #1 place to go is Broadway at the Beach where they have several clubs tailored to different types of music - rock, dancing, etc. Also sports bars and many restaurants.

One of our favourites at BATB is Crocodile Rocks where they have duelling pianists who take requests from a lively crowd. Tons of fun and these guys can play.

Another one would be Studebakers on Kings Hwy. just south of 21st Ave. N. Club music, sometimes live entertainment, different theme nights and ladies drink free for a good portion of the night, or at least they used to last time we were there. We used to walk to it when we stayed at The Breakers.

As far as cheap, lots of places have happy hours, like Overtime Sports Bar in North Myrtle Beach where, if you want to catch a game, there are more than 100 TVs. They sell buckets of iced beer.

I will agree with Broadway they have it all from nightclubs to live bands to pubs to chain restaurant bars (Senor Frogs, Hard Rock, Marguaritaville). We also enjoy Ron Jon%26#39;s off of the 501 which has a great 2$ burger deal and good drink prices. Most bars will have a great happy hour with drink and food deals.

We were at Broadway this weekend and went to Revolutions and had a ball. Lots of people wanting to cut loose and have a good time. We%26#39;ve been to Crocodile Rocks and never can get into it. 2001 near restaurant row is fun too.

You have to get to Croc Rocks early, we go at 7 when doors open so we can sit in our ';spot';, music starts at 8, place will fill up by 10. The thinkg they are doing now, that they did not do last year, is all tables are reserved, you have to pay the cover charge and then an additional $10 to sit at table, we prefer bar stools, see better.

We for anything just wanna have a good time so all ideas will be considered. Thanks to all who have already replied. I noticed there are VIP cards are they worth the $10?
