Whats May like between the 2 bike weeks?

We are taking a short trip prior to a family event, already booked, etc, when I have realized we will be there between the 2 bike weeks this year!

Bike week ends May 17, and we will check in late that night, checking out on May 21, before Black Bike Week offically starts!

Please tell me it wont be so bad! This will be our 1st trip to Myrtle Beach, and if we like it, we will definelty be returning in August for a week long vacation. BTW- I have 2 younng kids, ages 6 and 3 and we will be staying at Compass Cove.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Whats May like between the 2 bike weeks?

It won%26#39;t be to bad, i have been there when the Harley week is ending, there are some straglers left but not a problem. The traffic may be a little heavier with them coming and going but other wise i don%26#39;t think it will matter. We were staying in the North MB section and never saw anything out of the ordinary.

We also have come into town when the Atlantic beach bike week was ending and that was interesting. Traffic stopped going into town just because of the rubber neckers looking over to the other side. I saw enough to know i didn%26#39;t want to be there that week.

Whats May like between the 2 bike weeks?

May and Sept. are the two best times to go IMO.

Beach will be nice, water still pretty cool, use indoor pools mainly.
