Hi All,
My husband and I are planning a trip to MB with our 2 kids (6 and 2 1/2) at the end of march/beginning of april. We will most likely be driving to SC from Chicago. I had a few questions and would appreciate if someone can answer them
1. What will the weather be like at that time? I checked online and it shows 70s but will be warm to go in the water on the beach?
2. We are planning on staying at the Dunes Village Resort. The reviews for it here are great. Whats there to do at the Resort and right outside?
3. What else is there to do in MB with 2 kids? Is the downtown area good to visit with kids? Are there any watersports (kayak, jetski, snorkel) around the Dunes Village area?
Any other info that you guys can give me would really be appreciated.
Thanks so much
need info about Dunes Village and MB in general1) No, you will not be able to swim in the Ocean. You may be able to sit on the beach. The temps can really vary this time of year.
2) The resort is self containing, anything that you can do at any resort you can do here. (Indoor pools, lounging by the pool, etc.) As for entertainment, you will need to drive to it.
3)';Downtown'; MB has seen it%26#39;s better days...For Kids, head to Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing...Depending on the weather, just stay at the resort, enjoy the beach and the pools..
need info about Dunes Village and MB in generalHello...Your kids will love the Dunes. There are indoor pools, water slides, lazy rivers, kiddie pools and hot tubs. They will not be bored. They also have a cafe, coffee shop, and a breakfast buffet. As far as other stuff to do check out barefoot Landing, Broadway at the beach, Ripley%26#39;s Aquarium and Alligator Adventure.
