Karma

Our trip is planned for 03/31 - 04/05 and my 15 and 16 year old girls and possibly another 15 yr old want to go to ';Karma'; which I looked up online and it is a 13 to 19 yr old dance club. Their website says they have security and is a safe environment. OK that%26#39;s all good but it makes me nervous to drop two or three teenage girls off at a place where they do not know anyone. They all go to dances at school but this is different. I really want to let them go and they are BEGGING to go but still I am so worried about it. Does anyone here have any experience with this place? I really need some reassurance before I let them go.

I have not been to Karma before but when I was about that age I would go to the Attic and such. I%26#39;m sure it is a safe environment with security. They might let you look in to see what its all about. Just call them and ask but I would do that maybe the night before so your daughters don%26#39;t get embrassed. If you think they are mature enough to not leave with people ect they should be fine. Just set up some ground rules with them.

I had a friend that let her teenagers go last summer and was very impressed with the place. She talked with the owners at length before the kids entered. One good thing is.....once they pay, they must stay inside. There is no re-admittance.

Call and talk to the owners or go down there with them and check it out before you let them go inside. Then, set a time that they must meet you.

Thanks for the replies. I think I am going to let them go. We have already talked about the rules but I am glad they don%26#39;t allow re-entry. I am allowed to go in and look around according to their website but I probably will do it before they go, maybe the day before or something.
