I have narrowed my choice down to The Breakers vs. Sandy Beach. We are a family of six...7,10, 13 and 15 year olds. The Breakers is ranked 28th by TravelAdvisor and Sandy Beach is ranked 7th with it being labeled ';best value.'; The Breakers is $740 for a 3 room suite but in the Boutique Tower, several blocks away from the main pool area. Sandy Beach is $877 for a 3 bedroom King standard suite in the Palmetto.
Any recommendations?
Breakers vs. Sandy BeachNow I have to add Oceans One to the mix! They have a 2 bedroom ';Type 4'; unit at $888.
This place looks pretty new so if you could give me your opinion on the choice between the 3...Oceans One, Breakers and Sandy Beach I would appreciate it.
Thanks.
Breakers vs. Sandy BeachPersonally we are booking at Sandy Beach this year but I have not stayed at any of the places you mentioned. We looked at Breakers as well. This is a girls only trip with six of us going - two adults with an 8, 12, 15 and 16 year old. We found the best price at Sandy Beach and it looks good for the kids. When we were at MB in the fall, we looked at Sandy Beach and Oceans One and both looked great from the outside so that would be a tough call! I%26#39;m sure any of those would work out good though.
Sandy Beach and Oceans One are right next door to each other. And they have primarily the same amenities and water features.
If I had to stay in the North Tower at Breakers or the Sandy Beach and Oceans One, I wouldn%26#39;t pick the Breakers because it just doesn%26#39;t feel the same being 6 blocks away.
Either Sandy Beach or Oceans One would both be a great choice. Someone mentioned on here before that the bathroom for the pools at ?Oceans One? is on the 2nd floor (may have been Sandy Beach). So they didn%26#39;t like that idea. Otherwise they are pretty much the same. Both new propteries. Note that Palmetto is the newer building at Oceans One.
Oceans One is only one building and it is new. The Palmetto is the new building at Sandy Beach. We%26#39;ve been staying at Sandy Beach for several years and really enjoy it. The new Palmetto building is really nice if you%26#39;re looking for all the comforts of home. From uur balcony at Sandy Beach the Oceans One property looks to be very nice as well. I think you would be happy with either. Never stayed at the Breakers so I can%26#39;t compare.
Thank you to all for the advice. I booked a 3 bedroom at Oceans One as we may be taking one more on the trip. We are really looking forward to this trip as it snowed here again today!
