Is it beach time now?

I am looking to go to Myrtle Beach next week. My dauhghter is definately looking for beach time and tan. Anyone there now? How is the air and water temps? Or should I plan to go in May or June?

Mid day in March CAN be nice on the beach, Water is cold. May need to rig a wind screen. Or just wedge an umbrella on its side to break the wind. Can definitely get some sun that way. May is much better weather, June begins to get more crowded.

The Sun News had a funny little blurb on the front page Sunday. It said ';When you see someone in the ocean in March you can just ask what part of Canada they%26#39;re from.'; It might be warm enough to lay on the beach but the water will be quite chilly. The Atlantic is a large body of water and it takes a long period of warm weather to heat it up, as in months.

well ill be in the ocean when we come next week. Its alittle shock to the system but you get ajusted to it lol all those buffalo winters help in that regards. We will be tanning any chance we get as well. The forecast has changed 4 times in last 3 days so who knows what it really gonna be like.

March %26amp; April are not your best months. You maybe able to lay out %26amp; get a tan but you won%26#39;t want to get out very early. The water is COLD. May will be warmer and June better than that but if you decide to go in June try to go the 1st week as the rates go up the 2nd week. For the warmest temps July, Aug or Sept. are the warm ones.
