In July of 2007, we stayed at Seascape in Wild Dunes. We had stayed there in 2005 and it was lovely, but by 2007 the beach was a disaster. We had only a few hours of access each day and the 50lb sandbags were such an eyesore. Of course, I realize that residents need to protect their property, but we%26#39;re not spending vacation money so lightly these days and I like to know if the erosion problem has been resolved. An insight from recent visitors would be appreciated.

Almost postive they are all gone as the beach renovation was completed last summer. It is amazing. Go to their web site and see the pictures of before and after.

The beach is gorgeous. Very wide now - more beach now even at high tide. At low tide you%26#39;ll have quite a hike to get to the water. Excellent job by all! (and I hope you heard about the cannonball that was found when the sand was sucked up from offshore and spread on the beachfront!)
