Taking the family to the beach! There is still snow on the ground here, so maybe it seems crazy that I started counting this early, but I%26#39;m really tired of the frozen tundra!! LOL!
So here is our ideas. If anyone has more interesting stuff to add, please feel free!
1. We%26#39;d like to do Medieval Times one night if I can find discount coupons somewhere. They had a ';free kids'; offer, but it expired before our trip.
2. Ripley%26#39;s Aquarium.
3. Mini-golf (putt-putt to you Southerners).
4. Benjamins Seafood (a must on every trip)
5. Beach time (of course) and the lazy river and pools.
6. Amusment park near the ocean in the evening some night.
7. Husband and son want to do the Nascar Cafe. Me and the daughters will hang at Broadway at the Beach.
8. Husband and son would like to do deep sea fishing. Does anyone know of a place less than 400 bucks?????
We are staying for 5 days and I simply CANNOT wait to go! Even the long drive doesn%26#39;t scare me. I%26#39;m so stinking SICK of endless winter!
100 days and counting....Those are all such great ideas!
FYI, I *think* the Nascar Cafe closed, I think I saw an article about it online recently. :( We%26#39;re really sad about that, we went there last year and our boys absolutely loved it. But, there are tons and tons of other things to do and you%26#39;ve got a nice list going.
Don%26#39;t know how you feel about this, but there is a local winery called La Belle Amie that is supposed to be really fun and actually kid-friendly. Link on internet is http://www.labelleamie.com. They play live music and have festivals, we%26#39;re thinking of stopping there on the way in the first day (Saturday June 27) b/c there%26#39;s some sort of Summerfest going on. Might be a great way to kick-off your vacation!!
