Hilton Head Island - When to go?

I am interested in going to Hilton Head Island. When is the best time to go weather wise? I don%26#39;t want to go when it is rainy or below 50 degrees.

Hilton Head Island - When to go?

It%26#39;s been a colder than usual winter this year; however last week it was in the 70s and 80s. A cold front has just moved in but by mid-week it returns to 70s.

Late March is typically good weather, with 70s and some 80s. From then on, weather is great.

Hilton Head Island - When to go?

As a local, I think our best months are May and September. It%26#39;s warm and sunny. The ocean temperatures are balmy, and the tourists are on the whole not here.

Thanks hhiguy.... I like travelling in September; usually the weather is good and traffic is lighter with kids being back in school. I just might head down there this September!
