St. Patrick's Day festivities?

My husband and I will be in Charleston next week. Are there St. Patrick%26#39;s Day festivities? Any Irish Pubs we should go to?

Thanks for your help!

St. Patrick's Day festivities?

There is O%26#39;Malley%26#39;s Irish Pub on King Street close to Calhoun Street (going toward Market St) and The Griffon English Pub on Vendue Range close to the big fountain and Harborview Inn. Tommy Condons is on Church Street but it is not as authentic as O%26#39;Malleys. There are also Irish pubs in Mt. Pleasant, Daniel Island and in old North Charleston. The one in North Chas. had gotten some excellant reviews but I have not eaten there.

Many of the restaurants offer special Irish menu items such as corned beef and shephards pie.

There will be a parade with bagpipe bands and all but nothing as big and wild as Savannah.

Thanks for the information. Will probably check out O%26#39;Malley%26#39;s.
