What time in April are the rates lower?

We have not been to Myrtle Beach in a long time and would like to go next month. What dates in April would the rates tend to be lower? We will be going without kids and hope there would be a period in April when it would not be all families. I do realize MB is a family oriented destination. Thank you in advance.

The week before Easter is Spring Break for many schools in GA. As for prices, you could find the place you want to go and type in different dates to check. I would also call as you may get a better rate. Good luck!

In general prices begin to climb around May 1st and increase incrementally until ';high season';, mid June to mid August. Usually Spring Break/Easter weeks carry a premium rate also. That said, the last two weeks of April might be cheaper.

Our spring break for public school in Central New York begins April 10 and there is a mass exodus from our community to Myrtle Beach!
