Question about Launches from D.E.!

OK - so the last time I saw a Space Shuttle launch it was daytime and I was only 40 miles from Cape Canaveral so that%26#39;s a no-brainer. However, commuting to work in Atlanta one day years ago I saw the hints of a launch (and that%26#39;s hundreds of miles away). Tonight at 9:20 the Space Shuttle is launching, and since it will be night time I think we are more likely to see the launch from the lowcountry beaches. Does anyone have any experience with that??? Thanks!

Question about Launches from D.E.!

In past years, we%26#39;ve been able to see nite launches from MB, so weather permitting, it should be visible tonite. Admittedly, the view from here has been less than spectacular. Mostly, just a hazy glow ascending into the sky. More info: …nationalgeographic.com/news/2009/03/090310-…

Question about Launches from D.E.!

Thanks! I had suspected that since I saw that ';glow'; from the Atlanta suburbs so far away. It is supposed to be a nice evening so I%26#39;ll be watching!

I just found out that tonight%26#39;s launch has been postponed til tomorrow. :(
